About this Workshop

Do you sometimes feel pulled between your children and your aging parents? Whether you’re helping your parents more often, worrying about their changing needs, or simply trying to find enough time and energy to stay connected while raising children and managing work, you’re not alone.

Many adults today are part of the sandwich generation, balancing the needs of younger and older family members while trying to protect their own well-being. Even when your parents are helpful to you, the emotional weight of these sometimes competing responsibilities can lead to stress, guilt, or exhaustion, and the feeling that you’re never doing enough for anyone.

This practical, evidence-based workshop will help you build emotional resilience as you navigate this season of life. You’ll learn strategies to manage stress, reduce guilt, communicate more effectively with family members, set healthy boundaries, and make thoughtful choices about where to invest your limited time and energy.

Join Peace At Home experts Ruth Freeman LCSW, and Cora D’Alessandro MA, IMH-E,  for a supportive conversation filled with practical tools you can begin using right away. You’ll leave with greater confidence, renewed perspective, and strategies to strengthen relationships across generations while making space to care for yourself, too.

Please ask questions and share your experiences during the session.  If you would like to request a specific topic to be covered, please email us ahead of time at solutions@peaceathomeparenting.com
