About this Workshop

Do you find yourself trying to solve your child’s problems? Do you get caught in conflicts over challenges that may not be yours to fix? Would you like your child to be more confident and capable when facing difficulties?

One of the most effective ways to raise resilient, independent children is to help them develop strong problem-solving skills. When parents learn to identify who “owns” a problem, they can step back from unnecessary power struggles and empower children to find solutions for themselves.

In this workshop, you’ll learn practical strategies to teach problem solving, encourage responsibility, and build emotional intelligence in school-age children, teens, and young adults. Join Peace at Home founder, Ruth Freeman, LCSW, to discover how to support your child without rescuing them, helping them develop the confidence and resilience they need to navigate challenges at school, in relationships, and throughout life.

Please ask questions and share your experiences during the session.  If you would like to request a specific topic to be covered, please email us ahead of time at solutions@peaceathomeparenting.com
