About This Workshop

Aetna Mental Wellbeing and the Family and Caregivers CRG will host a parents and caregivers of children event for all colleagues as part of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

Teens, Tech, and Talk – Making time for crucial conversations will provide attendees with education and resources to help protect the mental health and well-being of youth while they engage in online activities.

After this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Understand both the positive and negative effects of social media on mental health
  • Understand how to guide youth on how to safely use and navigate social media in the digital age
  • Recognize signs of social media related problems and how to help
