About This Workshop

Peace At Home founder Ruth E. Freeman, LCSW will chat with Andrea Brinnel, Ed.D. who was a Special Education Coordinator both at the school district and state levels in Connecticut. Andrea will help us understand the nature of the Special Education process and how parents can be effective partners in that process. And it can be complicated, so don’t go it alone. Andrea will answer your questions on the spot and identify resources that parents can find to help them along.

  • If you do not have a Peace at Home account, please use the New to Peace at Home button above to register for this virtual, Interactive 30-minute discussion on March 31, 2023 at 12 PM ET.  We’ll email a zoom link to add to your calendar and reminders as the date gets closer.

After this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Navigate the Special Education Process
  • Know where to get help
  • Get your questions answered on the spot
