Viana Turcios-Cotto, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist. She is the founder of Viana Behavioral Health & Wellness LLC, her private practice based in Farmington, Connecticut. She works daily with children, adolescents, and adults who have endured a variety of traumatic experiences, as well as other life stressors. Most recently she served as the Bilingual Team Psychologist for the Chicago Cubs Major League Baseball team. In that role Dr. Turcios-Cotto provided mental health support to young professional baseball players mostly from Latin America. Prior to earning her Ph.D., Dr. Turcios-Cotto earned her Ed.M. in Human Development and Psychology at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She also became a certified elementary school teacher at Dartmouth College and taught second and third grade at a public school in Manchester, Connecticut. Dr. Turcios-Cotto lives in Hartford, CT with her husband and their two sons who are 3 and 8 years old.
