Our Management Team

Amy has been involved in Peace at Home Parenting Solutions since its founding in 2016. As an undergraduate intern, studying Psychology and Human Development & Family Studies, Amy helped develop Peace at Home's initial class presentations and communications. After graduating, she served as the company's Communications Coordinator for several years, before transitioning into a church ministry role. Amy stayed connected to the business and is now back at Peace at Home, while pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With over 6 years of experience writing curricula, facilitating groups, and coordinating family-focused programs, Amy combines her operational skills with her passion for supporting families.

Alisha Bhende, MBA works as a Parent Guide and Administrative Assistant with Peace At Home Parenting. She loves to interact with parents, learn about their challenges, and help them find the solutions they seek. Alisha also works closely with the Peace At Home sales and marketing teams, helping to bring Peace At Home to parents through corporations, non-profits, towns, schools, and other organizations. She is patient, organized, and a pro at multitasking, which makes her a valued member of our team. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and recently earned a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Pune. She is based out of India. Alisha is a talented artist, a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, and a voracious reader.

Gabriella Schwartz is currently attending The University at Albany (SUNY Albany) studying Psychology and Business. She is currently a rising Junior who also works at the Albany JCC with kids of various ages. When she is not studying or working she enjoy cooking, traveling, and doing various outdoor activities. She has been a member of the Peace At Home family since 2019, as a technical support coordinator; she has learned so much and enjoys it greatly.

Moumita Ghosh, MA is currently studying at The University of Leeds. Moumita began working part-time for Peace At Home Parenting Solutions and quickly became a valued team member. She now works full-time for Peace At Home while finishing her Masters degree in Advertising and Marketing. When not so busy studying and utilizing her artistic talents, she enjoys reading, watching films and indulging herself with music. She has several awards to her name in Dramatics and Narration.

Kim is happy to join the Peace at Home Parenting team. She received her BS in Accounting and went on to receive her MS in Education, working for several years as a reading specialist for elementary students. As a mom to a 20 year old son and an 18 year old daughter, Kim has faced many of the parenting challenges that most parents encounter, yet also a few unique to her children. Even as a former teacher, without a resource like Peace at Home available to her at the time her children were young, finding reliable and effective parenting solutions was costly, time consuming and stressful. Recognizing the value and importance of what Peace at Home Parenting provides, coupled with her love of working with children, families and parents, has made Kim passionate about engaging with clients and guiding them to effective and appropriate resources that will not only make them better parents, but better people as well. Kim currently enjoys a full and busy life with her children and extended family, splitting her time between her home in Connecticut and her home in Florida where both her son and her daughter will attend college.

Alexandra Schwartz is currently a graduate at University of Connecticut studying psychology and Spanish. She recently graduated and now works as a research assistant at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Ali has worked in the UCONN Child Development labs, an inpatient psychiatric unit, and as an ABA therapist. Ali is also a passionate world traveler. She was a summer intern in Asia, traveled throughout Europe, and spent a semester abroad in Argentina. She is proficient in Spanish and intrigued by all cultures of the world. Ali is serving as Communications Assistant to Peace At Home Parenting.

Laura Yanez, BA is currently a full-time graduate student at University of Connecticut in order to earn her Master’s in Social Work. Laura started out as a parenting education intern with Peace At Home Parenting Solutions, where she developed her own research to help future parenting classes and to better understand families with diverse backgrounds. After the internship, she stayed on the team providing assistance as technical support. When she is not busy studying, Laura enjoys working out, trying new foods, and binging TV shows.

Sarah is a Client Development Manager at Peace at Home Parenting with experience in fostering community partnerships through fundraising, community events, and donor relations. She received her BA in Finance from Boston College before embarking on a career in sales, marketing, and development. Even when she took time to focus on her most fulfilling role as mother to her brilliant daughter, Sarah never stopped supporting nonprofits and causes relating to children and the community. She has been instrumental in donor and volunteer efforts; her experience includes over six years as President of the Wallingford Connecticut Symphony Orchestra board, twelve years as PTO and PTAC volunteer and 7 years as President, and Development Associate for the Connecticut Autism Spectrum Resource Center (ASRC). She is passionate about getting children and families the resources they need for overall physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
