Morning routines drive you a little crazy. Does trash only get taken out after a zillion reminders? Parents who spend time nagging, complaining, and punishing tend to have less time to meaningfully connect with their children. Consider the use of Family Meetings and other practical strategies to create smoother family routines and support children to be more responsible. You will find yourself connecting and celebrating more on a daily basis.

Participants will be able to:

  • Create family rules as a team
  • Create family routines that work
  • Introduce and implement family meetings in ways that improve family communication and cooperation

Is your preschool or school age child keeping you up at night?
Does your child’s bedtime routine take hours?
Does your child make lots of extra requests after lights out?
If so, you are invited to the Become Your Child’s Sleep Coach workshop. You will learn how to help your child fall asleep independently at bedtime with a gentle and gradual approach that will help your child learn to fall asleep quickly and easily at bedtime (and stay in his or her own bed all night!) You will also learn how to manage those “call backs and curtain calls” that most children love to make after lights out!
This class features Peace At Home guest teacher Lynelle Schneeberg, PsyD, author of “Become Your Child’s Sleep Coach: The Bedtime Doctor’s 5-Step Guide, Ages 3-10.”
