If you are having your second or third baby, you may wonder how to manage your children’s  competing needs and emotional outbursts.  Returning to work adds another layer of complexity as you arrange for their child care needs. Creating routines to get out the door and arrive back home is essential!  Join JoAnn Robinson, PhD and Cora Megan, MA at your CVS Health Welcome Baby, Back to Work Conversation at 1 PM on October 28.  JoAnn and Cora want to hear from parents about their concerns and experiences, and any questions that you have about the challenge of Returning to Work and Managing Sibling Relationships.  At this session, JoAnn and Cora will share ideas about

  • What it means to be a big brother or sister through their eyes
  • Managing sibling jealousy and promoting kindness
  • Childcare needs and options as you return to work
  • Creating routines for mornings and evenings

Solutions Series Library of parenting videos available on demand Handouts

Challenges & Solutions

Our Solution Series Libraries are developed around a specific parenting challenge. Each Series includes a collection of hand-picked, easily digestible (15 min+/-) videos which unlock a key piece of the parenting puzzle.  Read our summary of this Series below then click on each lesson to access the class description, video, handouts, and information about our Expert(s).

Young children react strongly and tend to have “meltdowns” – sometimes it’s predictable but other times, it’s just not!  This series will help you understand why your child so often displays intense emotions and the behaviors that go along with them. There are lots of options for how to respond in helpful ways during these difficult times with your young child.  This library of classes offers parents solutions for how to:

  • Respond effectively when big feelings overwhelm your young child
  • Apply strategies that help prevent episodes of overwhelm
  • Support  your young child to gradually manage feelings of disappointment and frustration.
