This session will be a time to reflect on the big picture and assess what you want to keep about your parenting approaches and where you want to make some specific, positive changes.

Ask any parent around the holidays if they are stressed and you will likely hear them answer, “Yes!”  When parents are feeling stressed, their children are feeling it too. During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, it’s important to help children feel safe and secure by preparing them for routine changes and keeping your expectations in check.

Transitioning to kindergarten is an important life event. It can be both a scary and exciting time for you and your child. You may be wondering: Is my child ready? Am I ready?

It helps to remember that children are unique. Each child starts kindergarten with a wide range of skills. Many parents are concerned about academic skills and we may forget about the particularly important emotional skills that help your child succeed.

In July, we’ll talk about baby sleep. Not sleeping – parents or babies – is a topic that many parents ask us about. We designed a quick solution class to offer parents a basic guide to what babies typically need and what parents can do to support a sleep rhythm during the first year. Our live WB conversation will build on this information by sharing with parents answers to some of the common questions we have been asked about baby sleep. How do we get back on track after a vacation where sleep routine went out the window? When should my baby sleep through the night? How do I stop co-sleeping with my 7 month old? Join us and bring us your questions about how to get a better night’s sleep.

While you are still pregnant is a great time to build positive routines for your own self-care.  Having a clear rhythm to your day, honoring the needs of your body to be active, refuel energy, and sleep lay a great foundation for creating a rhythm once the baby has arrived.
