LEGO Welcome Baby, Welcome Back to Work

Challenges & Solutions

Having a baby is an exciting time in your life. Whether this is your first or third, each arrival brings great joy and new challenges. When you add the transition out to Family Leave and then back to work, plus an ever-changing “new normal,” you deserve an army of support. That’s where the LEGO Welcome Baby, Welcome Back to Work Program comes in.  Classes, Conversations and Coaching will help you and your peer colleagues more easily master new beginnings for you and your baby.

First Classes, our Welcome Baby Solution Series Library gives you 24/7 access to specific parenting challenges. Each Flash Class includes an easily digestible (15 min+/-)  Video and Handouts that unlock a key piece of the parenting puzzle.  Click on any title below and watch the video as often as you would like and share the handouts with your caregiving partner.

Next are Conversations, led by Peace at Home Parenting experts.  Come together with your LEGO Colleagues to learn, share and gain support.  If you miss a conversation, the recording and handouts will be posted below and in your course catalog. In 2022, we will be meeting quarterly, and links to register will be included here as well as on your live calendar.  Don’t worry – we will send you a reminder each quarter too! Here is the Q1 Conversation scheduled:

Finally, when you need a little coaching, we have options.  First ask a question on our private, expert-monitored Facebook page.  You’ll get answers from our team and Peace at Parents just like you.  Next, you can come to our Monthly Q&A and Office Hours with founder Ruth Freeman. You can get on-the-spot answers.  Check the community section below or the live class schedule to register for the next session.  Finally, you may need some personal, private support.   You can schedule a 1:1 Coaching Session with our experts for an additional fee. Learn more about private coaching below and book a session today.

Birthing mothers strive to balance involvement in the world of work with the biological and emotional changes that accompany a recent birth. Parent involvement with a baby’s total care can be immensely rewarding as well as exhausting, and relinquishing some of that care to others is often anxiety-provoking.

Click on a class title below for easy access to expert information and guidance from the Welcome Baby – Welcome Back to Work Flash Class Solutions library available 24/7. From eating, sleeping (or not), and just surviving to answering questions like, “Will work harm my relationship with my baby?” busy parents like you appreciate quick evidence-based solutions to everyday challenges as well as major concerns. Each class includes a video and handouts to watch and share. Take notes and come join the next Welcome Baby Conversation and get your questions answered! If you are not sure where to start or need help now – email us at solutions@peaceaathomeparenting.com and we will get you connected.

How are you doing at authentically tuning into your own needs and modeling wellness for your kids?

Participants in this class will be able to:

  • Recognize the importance of slowing down and changing expectations
  • Identify family meeting strategies that suit your family and increase collaboration and cooperation
  • Apply approaches that help siblings tolerate each other with kindness
  • Apply communication and parenting approaches that focus on optimism, resilience and connection to effectively navigate the new normal as a family.
