About This Workshop
Children look to their parents and caregivers for signals of whether their world is safe or dangerous. Join this live, interactive workshop to gain essential strategies to support your child’s feelings of optimism and security.
Signaling safety to our children is an essential principle of peace at home. It is important to recognize the nature of your own anxious responses and have tools to manage those. Children need family life to remain pleasurable and playful even in uncertain times. When you understand how to signal to your child that they are safe, you are better able to protect their mental health. Research shows that a child who feels safe with their parents and caregivers will grow and develop positively, and naturally use social-emotional strategies to solve problems.
