Family Rules and Routines for Better Behavior

Children thrive on clear and consistent expectations and boundaries but family conflict often starts with rules they feel are unfair or unreasonable. The key to setting the stage for cooperation is to include your entire family in conversations about needs and expectations in a way that makes your child feel heard and respected even when they don’t get exactly what they want.
