Recorded Workshop

06.14.21 YUM! Brands Class Recording & Handouts

Lesson Details

Many working parents struggle to figure out a healthy work life blend. We recognize there shouldn’t have to be a choice between work and caring for your family. The McKinsey Report* tells us that parents, “…are facing the choice between falling short of pre-pandemic expectations that may now be unrealistic,
or pushing themselves to keep up an unsustainable pace.” *

We recognize that a work-life blend right now can seem impossible. Technology makes you accessible 24/7 and fear about job loss might drive you to work longer hours. Compounding stress from the never-ending workday can harm family life, health and overall happiness.

This interactive online workshop will provide you with the opportunity to consider the current research related to work-life blend and identify realistic approaches to address your most important challenges.
Participants in this session will recognize that you can’t “do it all” and be able to:
- Identify approaches to communicate with your supervisor on structural changes to work that will support better work-life blend
- Apply strategies that manage boundaries and support recovery
- Recognize the importance of instrumental and emotional social support and plan action steps to develop these resources.
