About this Workshop

Whether you’re thinking about starting a family, currently pregnant, preparing to adopt, a new parent, or getting ready to return to work, Expecting at Emory is designed to support you through every step of the journey.

Join us for an informative session featuring two of Emory’s trusted family‑support partners

Maven, a digital health platform offering 24/7 virtual access to maternity and family‑care specialists, including doulas and support for creating birth plans, and

Peace at Home Parenting, which provides expert‑led workshops focused on preparing for parenthood and balancing work and family life. We will also share an overview of Emory’s own benefits, resources, and services available to employees during the planning, pregnancy, and postpartum stages.

During this session, we will cover:

  • Support available for pregnancy, adoption, postpartum recovery, and the transition back to work
  • Tools and programs that make the early stages of parenthood more manageable
  • An overview of Emory’s leave policies and how to plan for time away from work
  • Tips for navigating childcare options, including campus and community resources
