About This Workshop

Are you a parent who loves seeing your kids bond with their grandparents but struggles with boundaries over discipline, bedtime, or screen time? Or are you a grandparent who cherishes time with your grandchildren but feels challenged by new parenting styles?

If concerns have been building but you’re hesitant to express them, you’re not alone. A recent C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital study found that nearly half of parents report disagreements with grandparents over parenting choices, yet many remain silent. When issues go unresolved, relationships can suffer, and in some cases, parents may limit grandparents’ access—a loss felt most deeply by the children.

Join Peace at Home Founder Ruth E. Freeman, LCSW, and expert Cora Megan D’Allesandro, MA, as they dive into the dynamics of the grandparent-parent-child triangle, helping families address challenges and strengthen relationships for the long-term benefit of everyone involved.
