About this Workshop

The relationship between a father and child is powerful. It helps shape a child’s feelings, behavior, and overall well-being. But a father’s own childhood – especially hard or stressful experiences (called Adverse Childhood Experiences) – can affect how he parents, reacts to, and connects with his child.

Join Peace at Home Expert Aaron Weintraub, MS, and guest Doug Edwards, Founder and Director of Real Dads Forever, in a supportive and easy-to-follow workshop, where we’ll discuss how a father’s past can shape his parenting today. You will learn simple tools to stop unhealthy patterns, build a stronger bond with your child, and become a more positive and thoughtful parent.

Whether you are a new dad, an experienced parent, or working through co-parenting challenges, this workshop will help you understand yourself better and improve your family relationships.

Learn how to be the father your child needs – by understanding your own story.
