Handling Hot Topics with Your Kids and Colleagues

August 04, 2022 12:00 pm EDT/EST

About This Workshop

The weather isn’t the only thing heating up this summer. Productivity may be impacted by the powerful responses you are feeling about school shootings, Supreme Court decisions, January 6th hearings, and other issues affecting both work and home life.

While the blurry lines between work and home can make it hard to leave stress at the door. The good news is that the skills working parents need to manage the anxiety of work, home, and the world are the same.

After this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Recognize and manage personal triggers that can be emotionally overwhelming at home and work
  • Support your children to understand and process information they will hear online and from friends
  • Communicate in ways that invite your kids and colleagues to listen with care and express themselves effectively.
