About This Workshop

Join our monthly candid Lunch and Learn conversation with founder Ruth E. Freeman, LCSW as she interviews experts on the issues that matter most to parents. Jump in and ask questions, share and connect with other parents who are seeking answers to the tough questions.

This month, join Ruth for new perspectives on this persistent and evolving issue as she asks the big questions of her guest Liz Sweigart, PhD. Gain insights into fostering a healthy and secure tech environment for your children and enhance your family’s digital safety knowledge.

Liz Sweigart, PhD is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Computer Science department at Vanderbilt University, where she researches youth online safety. She was the Chief Product and Strategy Officer for Safe Kids AI, an EdTech company on a mission to empower kids to be safer online by helping them make better decisions. Liz is passionate about using her well-honed skills to help parents support children to be safe online while respecting their autonomy and creativity.
